Love with All Your Heart

Some people love with their minds —

measuring every step,

afraid that giving too much

will only lead to hurt.

But I…

I love with all my heart.

Even knowing the heart is tender,

easily bruised,

easily lost in uncertainty,

it’s still the only place

that knows how to beat for joy.

I once loved like that —

innocently, passionately,

believing that sincerity alone

could heal every wound.

But life isn’t always as gentle

as I hoped.

Some people enter our lives

like a blazing sun,

then leave us behind

in a long, lingering dusk.

I asked my heart once:

“Why do you still want to love?”

It simply beat —

just enough for me to understand

that love is what it was made for.

So I no longer blame myself for being fragile.

I’m learning to love with all my heart,

but also keep a small corner

reserved for my own peace.

Because the most beautiful love

isn’t giving everything until nothing remains —

it’s loving enough to realize

this heart deserves to be cherished —

even when it breaks,

and especially when it still dares to love.
