Losing Paradise

We once had a paradise —

a place where everything was pure,

where your eyes were sunlight,

and my smile was the breeze.

Back then, love was simple.

Just walking side by side was enough,

silence felt warm,

and the blue sky seemed to belong to us.

But somehow,

we lost that paradise along the way.

Not because either of us changed —

just because our love grew too heavy

to keep floating.

I still remember that final afternoon.

We sat together,

no arguments,

no tears,

only a quiet pause

longer than a thousand goodbyes.

Since that day, I’ve learned —

paradise never truly disappears.

It stays hidden

in the corner of memory

where happiness once touched us.

Now, whenever I watch the sunset,

I smile softly —

because I know some of the most beautiful things

are meant to be remembered,

not kept. 🌤️
